Florida Home Inspectors was founded in 2005 by (owner) Kai Strom. Kai is certified by both the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) as well as by the State of Florida (FL License #HI-399) to perform all aspects of a comprehensive home inspection.

The reports generated by Florida Home Inspectors are non-biased and are designed to provide the buyers with all the detailed and critical information needed to make an informed decision on the purchase of a home.

Florida Home Inspectors adhere to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics required by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI).

• Worked as a carpenter for house builder “Nordseth Construction” from 1987 thru 1991
• Graduated from George Mason University with BA in Communications in 1991
• Worked for nationally syndicated sports show “The George Michael Sports Machine” from 1991-1992…..assisted in the production and writing of “The Redskins Report” – Washington DC
• Worked for local Washington DC Fox Sports as writer/asst. producer 1992/1993
• *Worked as 1st Assistant Golf Professional at “Lansdowne Golf Resort” Lansdowne VA  1993-1996
• Worked as 1st Assistant Golf Professional at “Springfield Golf & Country Club” Springfield VA  1996-2002
• Worked as “Golf Professional” at “Beacon Hill Golf Club” Leesburg VA  2002-2005
• Moved to Sarasota FL in March 2005 w/ wife Charo and my 3 boys Erik, Aksel & Kai Jr.  –   Owner/Operator of Florida Home Inspectors March 2005 to present
